Plant City has a population of 34,721 people (2010 Census data). It is located approximately halfway between Brandon and Lakeland in the easternmost portion of Hillsborough County, Florida. Interstate 4 and U.S. Highway 92 provide access through the area in an east-west direction and State Road 39 (James L Redman Parkway) is a main north-south roadway.
